The Naked Monster is an American independent feature film of the science fiction and horror genre with an emphasis on the "giant monster" subgenre. It is a send-up to similarily themed classic schlock films of the 1950s. The movie was directed by Wayne Berwick and Ted Newsom with a screenplay written by Newsom. It was produced by Heidelberg Films and released through Anthem Pictures. It premiered at the Winston-Salem RiverRun International Film Festival on April 22nd ,2005.
