Mutant Species is an attempt to rip off the popularity of the Predator film series. This independent film was directed by David A. Prior with a story and screenplay written by Prior and co-written by William S. Vigil based on a treatment by Patrick Francis. It was produced by Southern Star Studios and premiered in October, 1994. It was released in the United States on January 19th, 1995.
