The Munsters' Revenge is an American comedy television movie with elements of horror and the supernatural. It is a sequel to the popular 1964 -1966 television series The Munsters and was directed by Don Weis and written by Arthur Alsberg and Don Nelson. It first aired on NBC on Friday, February 27th , 1981 . The film stars Fred Gwynne , Yvonne De Carlo and Al Lewis all reprising their roles of Herman Munster , Lily Munster and Grandpa (respectively). The other major characters, Eddie Munster and Marilyn Munster are now played by K.C. Martel and Jo McDonnell. In the original series, Eddie was played by Butch Patrick and Marilyn was played by Beverley Owen and later, Pat Priest .

Bob Hastings, who plays the Munster family butler, the Phantom of the Opera, also provided the voice for the raven, Nevermore in the original Munsters television series.
Ezra Stone , who plays Doctor Lichtlighter in this film, was a director on the original television series. He directed twenty-seven episodes of The Munsters in total.
Lou Richards is uncredited for his participation in this film.
This film aired on the same evening that Midnight Offerings premiered on ABC .
