Munster, Go Home! is an American feature film of the "monster" comedy subgenre of horror. It is based on and a sequel to the situation comedy series The Munsters, which aired on CBS from 1964 to 1966, spanning a total of seventy-two episodes. The telemovie was directed by Earl Bellamy with a script written by Joe Connelly, Bob Mosher, and George Tibbles. It was produced by Universal Pictures and premiered in New York City, New York on June 15th, 1966. It opened to national release in the United States on August 6th, 1966. It is the first of four spin-off feature films and one of only two such films to take place in the continuity of the original TV series. The film featured most of the main cast from the TV show including Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster, Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster, Al Lewis as Grandpa, and Butch Patrick as Eddie Munster. The role of family cousin Marilyn Munster was played by Debbie Watson in her first feature film role.
