Mortuary is an American independent horror film of the psycho-thriller and Satanic cult subgenres. It was written and directed by Howard Avedis with a script co-written by producer Marlene Schmidt. The film was produced by Hickmar Productions and premiered in the United States on September 2nd, 1983. The premise of the movie involves the staff of a mortuary, who are practitioners of Satanism who go around killing people by injecting them with needles filled with embalming fluid. The film stars Mary McDonough as Christie Parson, David Wallace as Greg Stevens, Bill Paxton as Paul Andrews, Lynda Day George as Eve Parson, and Christopher George as Hank Andrews.
