Biography[]
Moorek was a criminal and con artist who worked with Madame Jasmine and Bronskon. When Madame Jasmine would conduct fake séances, Moorek would apply make-up and fancy lighting to appear as if he were the ghost of some rube's departed loved one. One of Madame Jasmine's schemes backfired however, when an elderly customer named Gregor Houghton discovered their trickery and attacked Jasmine with a knife. Bronskon was forced to shoot him to death to protect his cohort.
Moorek and the crew ran afoul of three supernatural hunters known as the Nightstalkers. The dhampir known as Blade ran Moorek's car down with his Humvee, and the vampire known as Hannibal King turned into mist, and manifested inside the vehicle. Fighting his own innate bloodlust, he rendered Moorek unconscious by slamming his head against the steering wheel.
