The Monkey's Paw is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller subgenre of horror. It was directed by Brett Simmons with a screenplay written by Macon Blair based on a screen treatment by Adam Meyer and Justin Smith. It was produced by Chiller Films along with Crafted Films, TMP Films and Jay-X Entertainment. It premiered in the United States on October 8th, 2013. The film is based on the 1902 short story "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs.
