Biography[]
Mister Lantz was a resident of Elm Street along with his wife and son, Glen Lantz. In the early 1980s, Glen had been dating his neighbor Nancy Thompson - a girl troubled by strange, horrific dreams. Nancy's sleep disorder had become so severe that her mother felt the need to install bars over all of the doors and windows of her home. Mister Lantz believed that such action could only mean that Nancy was seriously disturbed and he did not like the idea of such a girl associating with his son. When Nancy called the house hoping to speak to Glen, Mister Lantz rudely told her that he was asleep and that she would have to call him back later. Mister Lantz' protective nature wasn't enough to prevent his son suffering a grotesque fate at the hands of dream demon Freddy Krueger. When he heard his wife screaming from his son's room, Mister Lantz ran upstairs only to find a veritable ocean of blood covering the walls and ceiling.
