Mississippi is a state located in the continental United States. Mississippi played a large role in season three of the HBO television series True Blood. A majority of the action was split between the regular setting of the show, Bon Temps, Louisiana, and parts of Jackson, Mississippi. This was where vampire elder Russell Edgington lived at his lavish manor house along with his lover, Talbot Angelis. This was also where a werewolf pack known as the "Fuck You Crew" conducted their business, which was usually done from a wer-bar called Lou Pine's.
In the Zombie Tramp line of comic book titles by Action Lab Comics, Tupelo is the birth place of Janey Belle, aka the Zombie Tramp. When Janey was in high school, she and her friend Trish Keldor were roofied at a party and raped by a jock named Chucky Busey and his friends. To add insult to injury, both Janey and Trish were openly mocked for this experience, leading Trish to take her own life by hanging herself. Years later, Janey Belle, now a zombie, returned to her hometown and had a chance encounter with Chucky and his wife Sissy, who was also one of her high school tormentors. Janey took revenge upon them both by brutally torturing Chuck and forcing Sissy to kill him. She then forced Sissy to go to the hospital to give birth to her child, after which, Janey forced her to kill herself. [1]
