Mega Piranha is an American horror film of the predatory animal/giant animal subgenres. It was produced by The Asylum for Syfy and is considered a Syfy Pictures Original film. The movie was written and directed by Eric Forsberg and first aired on April 10th, 2010. It stars Paul Logan as Jason Fitch, Tiffany as Sarah Monroe, Barry Williams as Bob Grady, David Labiosa as Colonel Antonio Diaz, Jude Gerard Priest as Doctor Brian Higgins, Jesse Daly as Doctor Ely Gordon and Cooper Harris as Lieutenant Julia. As its title suggests, Mega Piranha deals with the concept of over-sized piranha fish that attack the Florida coastline and the beaches of Miami. Though the United States government and a team of scientists try to find a way to stop the carnage, relief can only come from one single-minded fish-hating ass-kicker.
