Matthew Knight is an American film actor born in Los Angeles, California on February 16th, 1994. His first professional acting work was playing a character named Peter in episode 2.9 of the Showtime series Queer as Folk. His first work in the horror genre was playing Timothy Talbot in the 2006 werewolf film Skinwalkers. That same year, Matthew played Jake in the Takashi Shimizu remake of The Grudge 2. Matthew reprised the role of Jake in 2009's The Grudge 3.

Matthew's television work in the horror genre includes the "Alien Candy" episode of The Haunting Hour: The Series, which is based on a series of books by children's author R.L. Stine. Beginning in 2011, Matthew played Ethan Morgan in the TV series My Babysitter's a Vampire.
