"The Screwfly Solution" is the seventh episode of season two of the horror anthology series Masters of Horror and the twentieth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Joe Dante and written by Sam Hamm. It adapts the 1977 short story "The Screwfly Solution" written by Alice Bradley Sheldon under the pen name James Tiptree, Jr. The episode premiered on Showtime on Friday, December 8th, 2006.
