Mary Kellogg is a fictional psychiatrist and a minor character featured on the Netflix television series Santa Clarita Diet. Played by actress Amy Hill, she appeared in the first episode of season two titled "No Family is Perfect".
Biography[]
Mary Kellogg was a psychiatrist who operated at a mental health facility in the city of Santa Clarita, California. She would often hold group therapy sessions among her patients, which included Joel Hammond, and Ron Ruffin.
Joel had been admitted to the hospital on forty-eight hour observation period after telling staff members that his wife, Sheila, was an undead zombie. As this was all true, and Joel was not mentally deranged, he was able to convince Doctor Kellogg that he was ready to re-enter society.
Doctor Kellogg expressed some measure of lament at seeing Joel leave. She told him that the only time she ever spends with healthy patients is when they are saying good-bye. [1]
