Manhattan Baby is an Italian horror film of the supernatural thriller subgenre of horror. It was directed by Lucio Fulci with a screenplay written by Elisa Livia Briganti and Dardano Sacchetti. It was produced by Fulvia Film and premiered in Italy on August 12th, 1982. The film stars Brigitta Boccoli as Susie Hacker with Christopher Connelly as her father Professor George Hacker. While on vacation in Egypt, George Hacker is struck blind, and Susie Hacker is given a mysterious talisman that she brings back home with her to New York City. And that's when her troubles REALLY begin!
