Los Alamos was the central setting of the 2010 film Let Me In. A young vampire girl named Abby traveled to Los Alamos with her human father figure where she befriended a young boy named Owen. The two grew extremely close to one another and when Owen learned about Abby's true nature, he vowed to protect her any way he could. In exchange, Abby taught Owen how to defend himself against some neighborhood bullies.
