Notes & Trivia Edit

  • Production on Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood began in September, 2002.
  • Body Count: 11
  • The DVD cover art has a similar composition to that of the 2000 film Scream 3.
  • Several of the Leprechaun's lines in this movie reflect earlier Leprechaun films. The "Damn clovers" line and the "eye for an eye, me dear" were used in the original.
  • The Leprechaun has a new outfit in this movie than the others giving him a more demonic look.
  • Emily Woodrow's friends poke fun of her desire to attend college in Kansas, remarking, "She's going somewhere over the rainbow". This is a reference to The Wizard of Oz, a children's novel written by L. Frank Baum in 1900 and popularized by the musical film production in 1939 which included the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The reference may also be construed as an off-hand comparison between the leprechaun and the Munchins of Oz.
