Len Wein is an American comic book writer and editor. He served in the capacity of Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics between 1974 and 1975, replacing Roy Thomas. He was succeeded in this position by Marv Wolfman. Along with artist Bernie Wrightson, Len Wein is best known for co-creating the character of Swamp Thing for DC Comics.
