Biography[]
The being known as Lasher, was an ancient spiritual entity called a Taltos. Once embodying a corporeal form, it since existed only as a wraith-like form that appeared as an attractive male figure. Those who witnessed him referred to him as "The Man". Lasher longed to become corporeal once more, but this could only be achieved through supernatural means. In order for Lasher to be reborn, he had to influence the bloodlines of thirteen generations of female witches. Only the thirteenth witch would be powerful enough to birth him into reality. Lasher first began appearing to Suzanne of the Mayfair from Scotland, from which the Mayfair family took its name. His final "designee" was Rowan Mayfair, whose innate power over life or death enabled her to house Lasher's spirit so that he could be born anew.
