American Horror Story[]
Larry was a townie that lived near the area of Camp Redwood in the 1980s. In July of 1984, Larry and his friends Keith and Pete went to the camp site dressed as infamous serial killer, Mr. Jingles, who allegedly murdered nine people at Camp Redwood in 1970. They dressed in Jingles' trademark raincoat and wore masks that resembled his face and tried to scare a new group of camp counselors that had just started working at the site. However, the real Mr. Jingles, whose actual name is Benjamin Richter, arrived at the campground and killed Larry by stabbing him in the neck with a knife. The man's ghost was one of many whose spirit became bound to the camp site environs. (AHS: Slashdance)
Marvel Comics[]
Man-Thing[]

Larry was a blonde-haired bespectacled teenager who lived near the Florida Everglades. He came from a strong religious upbringing, which he rejected in favor of a more inclusive cult-like organization known as Tao's Children. Although the group practiced an alternative form of religious enlightenment, they proved to be more accepting than the world that Larry was accustomed to. When his church learned of his involvement with the cult, they abducted him and locked him in a room where they tortured him for days as part of their deprogramming process. Larry managed to escape and made his way into the swamps where he had a chance encounter with the Man-Thing. The Man-Thing safeguarded Larry against the religious zealots responsible for his kidnapping and he reconnected with his friends in Tao's Children. (Man-Thing Vol 2 9)
Vampire Chronicles[]

Larry was a young man during the 1980s. He and his brother Alex formed one-third of the heavy metal band known as Satan's Night Out. Larry played the lead guitar and was the lead vocalist while Alex played drums. The third member of the group, Tough Cookie, played keyboards. The three of them met the vampire known as Lestat de Lioncourt, who was enraptured by the frenetic energy of their music, and became part of the band. Re-naming themselves "The Vampire Lestat", they became famous rock stars with Lestat as their front man. (Vampire Lestat, The)
