Lana Turner was an American film actress. She was born Julia Jean Mildred Frances Turner in Wallace, Idaho on February 8th, 1921. She passed away in Century City, California on June 29th, 1995 at the age of 74. She was credited in fifty films throughout her career and also appeared in a few television programs such as The Love Boat and Falcon Crest.
In the horror genre, Lana Turner is best known for her portrayal of Beatrix Emery in the 1941 film adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson tale, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Nearly four decades later, Lana played a woman named Vivian Cross in the 1980 horror/comedy Witches' Brew.
