Little Dead Rotting Hood is a low-budget independent horror movie that blends elements of werewolf and zombie fiction together into a single storyline. The movie was directed by Jared Cohn with a script written by Gabriel Campisi. It was produced by The Asylum and premiered on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016. The film stars Eric Balfour as a Pensylvanian sheriff named Adam, with Bianca A. Santos cast in the role of werewolf-zombie Samantha. The film also stars Romeo Miller as Samantha's boyfriend, Danny, Patrick Muldoon as Deputy Henry, and Star Trek: The Next Generation alumni Marina Sirtis as Samantha's grandmother - the Wolf Lady.
Yes, real wolves were actually used in the scenes where the animals are shown attacking people. Obviously however, the Den Mother, is rendered through CGI.
Speaking of werewolves. The "The Last Chimera" episode of Teen Wolf aired on MTV on the same day that this film premiered.
Explicit Content[]
Profanity: Mild to strong profanity used sparingly throughout the film. Variations of "shit" and fuck"; used mostly by Adam and Danny.
Female topless nudity: One rather busty teen is topless for at least a full minute during a sex scene right before her boyfriend gets throated by a werewolf.
Bloopers[]
The poster art for this film shows the lead character, Samantha, with a reverse tramp stamp on her stomach. However, she bears no such tattoo in the film itself. There are other existing film posters that do not show Samantha with the tattoo.
