Kristine Peterson is an American film director, producer and assistant director. Her first work in the horror genre was a 2nd assistant director on the 1986 film The Supernaturals. Also in 1986, she worked as a 1st assistant director on Chopping Mall. In 1987, she was an assistant director on Nightflyers. Her full directorial debut however was the following year when she helmed the obscure sci-fi/horror movie Deadly Dreams. She also worked as a 1st assistant director on 1989's A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child and 1990's killer worm movie Tremors. Her next full directorial feature was 1991's Critters 3.
