Kingdom Hospital is an American television miniseries. It is an adaptation of the 1994 series Riget, or The Kingdom by director Lars von Trier. The U.S. version of the film was developed by famed horror novelist Stephen King and aired on ABC for thirteen episodes from March to July, 2004. The setting of the series is the fictional Kingdom Hospital medical center in Lewiston, Maine, whose dark history gives way to bizarre supernatural occurrences in the present.
