In the comics, the Kingdom first appeared in issue #108 in March of 2013. The Kingdom also appeared on The Walking Dead television series beginning with the season seven episode, "The Well". The Kingdom was originally led by an aloof yet charismatic man named Ezekiel. Following Ezekiel's death in the comics, the Kingdom was taken over by a man named William.

  1. In the comics, The Kingdom is firmly established as being located in Washington, D.C., however, its introduction in the TV series is a bit more ambiguous, suggesting that it is in Virginia, a bit closer to Alexandria and the Hilltop.
