Biography[edit | edit source]
Kevin Ellis is your typical small town county deputy. He has a strong southern accent, a slight build and an eagerness to appease. Working out of his home town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, Deputy Ellis first served under Sheriff Bud Dearborne and later under Sheriff Andy Bellefleur.
Kevin was present when the body of Dawn Green was discovered in her home in 2008 - an apparent victim of the Bon Temps Strangler (later revealed to be Drew Marshall, aka, Rene Lenier). (TB: Escape from Dragon House)
As with most of the people of Bon Temps, Deputy Ellis fell under the sway of the maenad, Maryann Forrester. Following Maryann's death at the hands (or horns) of Sam Merlotte, Kevin was freed from her spell and retained no memory of the event.
Deputy Ellis was also present when Sheriff Bellefleur and another deputy, Jason Stackhouse, executed a raid on a meth lab in the neighborhood of Hotshot. Ellis was left to handle the leader of the group, Calvin Norris. (TB: Beautifully Broken)
In 2009, Kevin Ellis, his co-worker Kenya Jones and radio dispatcher Rosie shared a laugh at Sheriff Bellefleur's expense. An inappropriate photograph of Andy's backside made it's way onto the internet, thanks to the efforts of his girlfriend Holly Cleary's sons, Rocky and Wade. Andy warned Ellis and the others to stop laughing and to act more professional. (TB: Whatever I Am, You Made Me)
