Kent Military School is a fictional location featured in the Child's Play film series. It served as the principle setting for the 1991 film Child's Play 3.
Description[]
Kent Military School was a special private education facility sponsored and coordinated by the U.S. military. In the 1990s it was administered by Colonel Francis Cochrane. While the principal staff were commissioned military officers, senior students took up positions of authority and were given ranks such as Major and Colonel. One of the time-honored traditions of the Kent Military School was the annual winter War Games, which pitted Blue Squadron against Red Squadron.
In 1998, 16-year-old Andy Barclay was sent to Kent after failing to be placed in any foster homes. He was roommates with Harold Whitehurst and befriended another cadet named Kristin De Silva. Andy suffered under the bullying and abuse of a senior student named Colonel Shelton. This hardship paled in comparison however to the unexpected appearance of Andy's nemesis - a supernaturally possessed killer doll known as Chucky. Chucky set his sights on possessing a new human body. Rather than dealing with Andy again, Chucky instead targeted a much younger cade named Ronald Tyler. As tends to be the case when it comes to Chucky, murder and chaos ensued soon after.
