Jupiter is a city featured in the FX Network television series American Horror Story. It was the primary setting for season four of the show under the subtitle, "Freak Show".

Jupiter is a town in the U.S. state of Florida. In the 1950s, a traveling freak show run by a German expatriate named Elsa Mars toured through this area. Members of Elsa's troupe included Ethel Darling, Jimmy Darling, Desiree Dupree, Dell Toledo and the conjoined twins, Bette and Dot Tattler. [1]

  • Christian minister Peter Siems, who was the fourth victim of real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos lived in Jupiter, Florida. A fictionalized version of Wuornos appeared as a ghost in two episodes from the "Hotel" storyline of American Horror Story.
  • Movie star Burt Reynolds passed away in Jupiter, Florida on September 6th, 2018 at the age of 82.
