Julie Ege was a Norwegian film actress born Julie Dzuli in Sandnes, Norway on November 12th, 1943. Her career in film spanned from 1967 to 1988, with the majority of her work taking place in the 1970s. In cinema, Julie Ege is best known for playing a Scandinavian girl in the 1969 James Bond film, Her Majesty's Secret Service. In the horror genre, Julie is known for playing Vanessa Buren in Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires for Hammer Film Productions in 1974. She also appeared in Jack Cardiff's The Mutations, also in 1974, where she played a girl named Heidi. This was her final British film and her final major work as an actress. Julie Ege passed away in Oslo, Norway on April 29th, 2008 after battling lung cancer for six years. She was 64-years-old.
