Biography[]
Johnny Alucard was an occultist who lived in London, England in the early 1970s. A possible descendant of one of the disciples of the vampire lord Dracula, Alucard knew the location of Dracula's buried remains in an unmarked grave at St. Bartolph's Church, near to the burial site of Dracula's nemesis, Lawrence van Helsing. Alucard also possessed a vial filled with some of Dracula's ashes, and sought to resurrect him.
To this end, Alucard befriend Jessica van Helsing, the great-granddaughter of Lawrence van Helsing, as well as her group of friends. When a mid-day hippie party was interrupted by police, Johnny made the suggestion of engaging in something far more worthwhile - a Satanic black mass to be held at midnight at St. Bartolph's. Though the kids all scoffed at the perceived absurdity of such a venture, they all agreed.
That evening, Alucard led the mass and entranced the hippie kids who sat around a pentagram as he invoked the names of several powerful demonic entities, including Dracula. Slicing open his own arm, he poured his blood into a chalice, which he mingled with Dracula's ashes. He then poured the bubbling concoction across the chest of one of the hippies, Laura Bellows, which caused Dracula's essence to rise from the grave and reform in total above ground. As a devout follower, Alucard offered himself to Dracula, who reciprocated his servant's faithfulness by turning him into a vampire.
Johnny Alucard attacked and killed Jessica van Helsing's boyfriend Bob, turning him into a vampire as well. Johnny ultimately confronted Jessica's grandfather, Lorrimer van Helsing, who repelled Alucard by having him fall into a bathtub filled with water. As he fell backward, he accidentally pulled open the blinds, which allowed sunlight into the room, which destroyed him. [2]
