  • Mark Romanek was originally hired to direct The Wolfman, but left the project early in its production citing budgetery and creative differences.
  • Joe Johnston opted to use a Spinosaurus as his central dinosaur antagonist in Jurassic Park III rather than a Baryonyx so that it would have a very distinctive appearance and could not be confused with the T-Rex.
