Jillian Suzanne Wagner is an American film and television actress born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on January 13th, 1979. She attended school at Ledford Senior High School in Wallburg and later North Carolina State University, graudating in 2001 with a BA in business management. Following graduation however, Wagner set her sites on acting and moved to Los Angeles, California.

Career[]

Jill's first professional television work was playing a woman named Crystal in the "Mr. Monk and the Employee of the Month" episode of the popular USA Network detective series Monk.

In 2006, Jill was cast in the role of Krista Starr on the Spike TV television series Blade. Wagner's character was a soldier who returns from Iraq only to discover that her brother Zack has died under mysterious circumstances. Her investigation reveals that Zack was a vampire familiar and her character teamed up with vampire hunter Blade to bring her brother's killers to justice. Jill Wagner received second billing on the series and appeared in all twelve episodes.

In 2008, Jill appeared in the Toby Wilkins film Splinter, playing a character named Polly Watt. Wagner's character is the victim of a car-jacking, which ultimately leads into a web of macabre, supernatural intrigue where her lover and she are pursued by a grotesque splinter parasite.

In 2011, Jill became a recurring cast member on the MTV teen drama series Teen Wolf playing a character named Kate Argent. She was introduced in the fourth episode of season one, "Magic Bullet" and became a central figure in the series. Wagner's character was descended from a long line of werewolf hunters who, along with her equally committed brother, sought to destroy the alpha werewolf that had been plaguing the Northern California town of Beacon Hills.
