Jean Thomas is a comic book writer and former wife of noted writer/editor Roy Thomas. Along with Roy and writer Gerry Conway, she co-wrote the first appearance of Marvel Comics werewolf character Jack Russell in the pages of Marvel Spotlight, Volume 1 #2. This story was partially reprinted in issues #2-3 of the Marvel UK magazine Dracula Lives! as well as the book-n-record read-along adaptation produced by Power Records in 1974. Jean's non-horror work includes issues of Night Nurse, Crazy Magazine and Spidey Super Stories.
