Jay Hernandez is a Mexican-American film actor born in Montebello, California on February 20th, 1978. His first professional media work was in television where he played a character named Jose in the the "Christian's Scholarship" episode of USA High. His first work in the horror genre was playing a marine in the 2001 suspense thriller Joy Ride. In 2005, Jay took the lead role of Paxton in the the torture film Hostel, directed by Eli Roth. He reprised the role for the 2007 sequel, Hostel: Part II. In 2008, Hernandez played a character named Jake in the movie Quarantine.
