Janella Lennox is a minor character who appeared in the HBO television series True Blood. She was played by actress Roberta Orlandi and appeared in episode 1x03, "Mine".
Biography[]
Janella Lennox was a "fangbanger" who lived in Monroe, Louisiana with a vampire nest, which consisted of Malcolm Beaumarchais, Diane Hardwicke and Liam McKnight. She was most commonly associated with Liam, who treated her as a slave/prostitute. Liam brought Janella with him on an impromptu visit to Bon Temps to the home of Bill Compton. While Malcolm and Diane entertained themselves with Compton's new "plaything", Sookie Stackhouse, Liam amused himself by having Janella perform sexual favors for him.

- The character of Janella Lennox was created by director John Dahl and writer Alan Ball based on concepts originally developed by author Charlaine Harris.
- In "Mine", Janella is only addressed by her first name. Her surname is revealed in the novel Dead Until Dark - the first book in the "Southern Vampire Mysteries" series of novels.
- Dead Until Dark reveals that Janella was once a waitress who worked for Sam Merlotte, but was fired and replaced by Dawn Green.
- In Dead Until Dark, Janella pleasures Liam by giving him a hand job. In "Mine", she does so by performing fellatio.
