Jake Otto is a fictional lawyer and one of the main characters on the AMC survival horror series Fear the Walking Dead. He is played by actor Sam Underwood, and was introduced in the episode "Eye of the Beholder". He is a member of the Broke Jaw Ranch survivalist community, led by his father Jeremiah Otto.

Overview

Jake first appears to calm down an angry Madison Clark, who has a spoon embedded behind the eye of Jake's brother, Troy and demands to see her family. Jake agrees to take her to her family if she lets Troy go. Later, Jake chastises Troy as Troy was murdering innocent people to track their reanimation times as Troy counters that their father would understand what he was doing. As the horde of zombies unleashed from the sewers invade, Jake leaves on a helicopter with Travis Manawa, Alicia Clark and a wounded Luciana, heading to the Broke Jaw Ranch to meet up with his father.
