Jajpur is a town located in the state of Odisha in the country of India. It is the headquarters of the Jajpur district and is the site of the Biraja Temple.
Jajpur played a small role in Marvel Comics titles involving the character of Dracula. It was here that a horde of vampires attacked Taj Nital, delivering a severe throat injury that rendered him mute. His wife, Jyota Nital, was crippled by an overturned vehicle, and their son Adri Nital was turned into a vampire. Taj left Jajpur to become a vampire hunter, but returned five years later to reconcile with his wife. It was at this time, that Adri's unlife ended once and for all at the hands of an angry mob.
