Real world
The real world is a general term relating to events that take outside the place of speculative fiction. It is the place where there are no such things as vampires, super-powered heroes, alien empires, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, or Santa Claus. There were no gaudily clad patriotic heroes fighting evil Nazi robots in World War II, there are no shape-shifting aliens taking up key positions in Washington (though an argument could be made against this), no undead serial killers with hockey masks teaming up with burn victims that kill you in your dreams, your car does not possess the ability to morph into a super-robot with giant guns, and the Earth is most definitely and undeniably spherical. Sounds kinda crappy.
