An ice pick is a tool with a sharpened point used for the purposes of chipping and breaking away pieces from solid blocks of ice. It can also be used to describe an ice axe, which is a tool that mountaineers use to assist them in scaling steep inclines. Additionally, an ice pick may also be used as a weapon.

An ice pick is but one of literally dozens of weapons used by masked serial killer Jason Voorhees throughout the course of his camp counselor-killing career. In 1981's Friday the 13th Part 2, the character of Alice Hardy - the one responsible for killing Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, in the first film, was in her home when she began getting a nervous feeling as if she were not alone in the house. Going into the kitchen, she picked up an ice pick and walked near the open window. As it turned out, it was just her pet cat climbing into the house. She put the ice pick down to feed the cat, but moments later, Jason Voorhees appeared behind her and drove the ice pick into her head, killing her.
"Ice Pick" is also the title to the third episode from season two of the MTV television series Teen Wolf.
