Biography[]

Howard Douglas, circa 1918.
Howard Douglas grew up in Fordell, Texas in the early 1900s. In 1917, he worked as a farmhand and married the farmer's daughter, Pearl. Howard and Pearl conceived a child, but it did not survive the pregnancy. That same year, Howard went off to fight the war in Europe. He returned home in November, 1918 to a shocking surprise. Entering the farmhouse, he found his wife standing with a maniacal look upon her face along with the corpses of her parents seated at a fully set dinner table with a maggot-ridden spoiled pig as a centerpiece.
Whatever Howard thought of all of this is unknown, but what is known is that he remained with Pearl, even though he did have to leave her again in the 1940s when he went off to fight in the Second World War.
By the year 1979, Howard and Pearl were both in their eighties. To make ends meet, Howard began renting out a guest house on the property. One renter was a hippie whom Harold referred to as a "Bohemian". Howard and Pearl murdered this young man and pushed his Volkswagen Beetle into nearby lake. The man's body was stripped naked and left hanging suspended in the basement of their home.
A short time later, a pornographer named Wayne Gilroy rented out the guesthouse from Howard. Howard was unaware that Wayne intended to use it to shoot an adult film called The Farmer's Daughters. Howard didn't think much of Wayne, and also indicated that he didn't care for his cast and crew. He asked them to be discreet so as to not "entice" his wife.

"No, I ain't a damn Orc, you sonovabitch!"
Howard had taken up his wife's violent nature and was not above committing acts of murder if it meant protecting her, though some of Howard's decisions remain questionable. For example, he captured a young member of the film crew named Lorraine Day and locked her up in the basement where she discovered the remains of the hippie that had been killed.
When Pearl went missing late into the evening, Howard came across one of his guests, Jackson Hole. Jackson was a Vietnam veteran and attempted to bond with Howard over their shared military service. Howard thought nothing of it however. Jackson failed to located Pearl, and for whatever reason, Howard responded by blasting Jackson in the center of his chest with his shotgun, killing him.

Howard came upon Pearl at the lakeside dock shortly after she had fed another porn actor, Bobby-Lynne Parker to an alligator. They went back to the house where Pearl seduced him, though Howard was reluctant due to his week heart. As the two copulated, a house guest named Maxine Minx, who had been hiding under their bed, slid out and crept away.
When Harold heard a ruckus coming from the basement, he quickly donned his clothes and grabbed his shotgun and ran outside. Maxine had found Lorraine and freed her, but when she ran outside, Howard blasted her in the face with the shotgun. Though petite, Lorraine's body proved heavier than Howard expected. He began dragging the body into the house, telling Pearl that if it is discovered in the house they could claim self-defense. Lorraine let out one final death rattle, which startled Howard to the point that it provoked a severe heart attack and he died.
