A sequel, House of the Dead II was released in 2005. The movie was directed by Uwe Boll and written by Dan Bates and Dave Parker based on a story treatment developed by Mark A. Altman (who also co-produced the film). It was first screened at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival on February 15th, 2003. It was released theatrically on October 10th, 2003.
