Hostel: Part II is an American horror film written, directed and produced by Eli Roth. It is the sequel to Roth's 2005 film Hostel. Hostel: Part II was released theatrically through Lions Gate Entertainment, Screen Gems and Raw Nerve on June 8th, 2007. The film is set in the country of Slovakia and involves a clan destine business organization, whose clientele pay exorbitant sums of money for the pleasure of torturing kidnap victims. Actor Jay Hernandez reprises his role of Paxton from the first Hostel and is joined by cast members Lauren German, Roger Bart, Heather Matarazzo and Bijou Phillips.
