Horrors of the Black Museum is an American and British co-produced horror film of the psychological thriller subgenre. It was directed by Arthur Crabtree with a screenplay written by Herman Cohen and Aben Kandel based on an original story treatment by Cohen and Kandel. It was produced by Carmel Productions and Merton Park Studios. It premiered in New York City, New York on April 29th, 1959. It was released in the United Kingdom on May 31st, 1959. The movie stars Michael Gough as thriller novelist Edmond Bancroft.
