Hideaway is a feature film of the horror genre that deals with subjects of satanism, murder, and near-death experiences. It is based on a novel of the same name by Dean Koontz. The film was directed by Brett Leonard with a screenplay written by Andrew Kevin Walker and Neal Jimenez. The film was produced by TriStar Pictures released theatrically in the United States on March 3rd, 1995. Hideaway stars Jeff Goldblum as small business owner Hatch Harrison with Christine Lahti as his wife, Lindsey, and Alicia Silverstone as their teenage daughter, Regina Harrison. Jeremy Sisto plays the role of the antagonist of the film, Jeremy "Vassago" Nyebern, with Alfred Molina as his father, Jonas Nyebern, and Rae Dawn Chong as psychic Rose Orwetto.
