Biography[]
Major Henry West was the leader of a British military brigade operating out of Manchester, England in the year 2002. Following a viral outbreak, West and his group attempted to quarantine themselves behind a barricade, but he lost many of his men to the infected citizens that attacked them. With his ranks numbering now only a dozen, West sought to learn as much as he could about the Infected. One of his men, Mailer, had become infected and West had him manacled outside the compound so he could see how long it would take an infected human to starve to death.
West recorded a message that he broadcast on all radio frequencies, announcing that he possessed the answer to the virus and offered sanctuary to non-infected citizens. Three survivors, Jim, Selena and Hannah managed to make it to West's compound, but were disheartened when they learned that he did not possess a cure for the infected.
One of his own troops, Private Mailer, had become infected and West had him chained up in a quad on the estate. He wanted to see how long it would take an infected human to starve to death.
West turned out to be less than the virtuous figure the others had hoped he would be. Citing how he had promised his men "women", he allowed his troops to avail themselves of Selena and Hannah to do with as they saw fit. Fortunately, Jim fought against the soldiers and was able to prevent them from violating the two women.
Jim later set Private Mailer free and the crazed soldier began rampaging throughout the compound hunting down other soldiers. He eventually caught up with Major West outside in a taxicab. He pulled him from the vehicle and brutalized him until he was dead.
