Hellraiser is an American independent horror film of the demonic supernatural thriller subgenres of horror. It is a reboot of the Hellraiser film series and was directed by David Bruckner with a screenplay written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski based on a screen story by Collins, Piotrowski, and David S. Goyer. It was produced by 20th Century Studios, Spyglass Media Group, 247Hub and Phantom Four Films. It premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 28th, 2022. It was screened at Beyond Fest on October 4th, 2022. It was made available on digital platforms on the Hulu streaming service on October 7th, 2022. Hellraiser stars Odessa A'zion as Riley McKendry - a recovering alcoholic living at a flat with her brother Matt (Brandon Flynn), who gets roped into breaking into a storage vault that contains the Lemarchand puzzle box. Manipulated into solving the puzzle, she opens the doorway for the Hellish Cenobites to enter our world.
