Christmas is a Christian holiday that falls on December 25th of each year. It celebrates the birth of the Christian lord, Jesus Christ, who was born in a manger in the City of David to Mary and Joseph. Christmas is also honored by non-Christians and has come to represent a time where families get together and exchange gifts and pretend to like their neighbor's fruit cake. Modern traditions include the gleeful worship of a mythical being known as Santa Claus, who lives in a toy workshop in the North Pole with an army of diligent elves, making toys for all of the children across the world, which are delivered on Christmas Eve through the conveyance (and convenience) of eight tiny flying reindeer.
