Halloween II is an American novel of the horror genre. It is the official novelization of the 1981 slasher film Halloween II, directed by Rick Rosenthal. The novelization was written by Dennis Etchison under the pseudonym Jack Martin. It was published by Zebra Books and first released in paperback edition on November 1st, 1981.
On Halloween night, psychiatrist Doctor Sam Loomis pursues a psychopath named Michael Myers who has escaped from the county mental hospital and murdered several teenagers. One of his would-be victims, Laurie Strode, managed to survive, but Michael is determined to finish her off.
