Guy Vaughn Thayer, Jr. was an American film producer, editor and production manager. He was born in Los Angeles, California on October 17th, 1908. His only work in the horror genre was as an associate producer on the 1940 "poverty row" film The Devil Bat starring Bela Lugosi. Thayer passed away in Australia on August 19th, 1988 at the age of 79.
