Groteseque is a Japanese feature film of the "torture porn" subgenre of horror. It was written and directed by Kôji Shiraishi. It was produced by JollyRoger, Tornado Film and Ace Deuce Entertainment. It premiered in Japan on January 17th, 2009. The film features a minimalist cast and stars Kotoha Hiroyama and Hiroaki Kawatsure as the main protagonists/victims. Shigeo Ôsako plays the role of the film's antagonist, an unnamed mad doctor and torturer.
