Occult
The occult refers to the study of the supernatural in all its forms. Scholars of the occult often learn the history and traditions of various religious organizations in their study of the occult. One who studies the occult is often referred to as an occultist, though the term does not apply to all. A priest who is learned in the rites of exorcism is not considered an occultist.
